It’s hard not to fall in love with Nena.

She’s a 7 year old German Shepherd who was rescued from a kill shelter. Nena is a calm, obedient and loving girl. When she hears “Go to bed” She walks into her crate or to her doggie bed. She loves being petted and brushed and will nudge you for more. Nena is great on a leash. She loves her walks, rides in the jeep, and treats from the drive thru!

She just turns into a young dog when she is around children. She is a big, huggable teddy bear! She is so proud after she does her ‘business’ that she does a proud good-girl dance.

She takes thyroxine for hypothyroid and is doing fine with it.

Nena would do best with a family or person that is home during the day. She gets along with other dogs.
